ULVENN

The Undertow Serpent

ULVENN is the serpent of the deep current. Its rounded, interlocking coils are the body of the current itself, looping back on itself the way a riptide does. The ringed eyes watch from beneath the surface, and the bands of teal, amber and crimson pour straight through the mask from top to bottom: the pull, the one unbroken motion inside an ethos of stillness.

Not violence. Gravity. The quiet, total force that takes everything down to where it can be remade.

Mythic Connection

ULVENN is the mirror image of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent of the Mexica sky. Where the sky serpent rises and flies, the serpent of the deep drags downward. Both are the same power: one lifts what is ready to ascend, the other pulls under what is ready to change.

The Pull of the Deep.

You cannot fight the undertow. You can only learn where it is taking you.

ULVENN belongs to NOXARA, The Weight of the Deep: the ethos of water, descent and memory, in Hurinsaya, the lower half.
