The Face of Mictlantecuhtli
NOCTIS channels Mictlantecuhtli, the Mexica god of the underworld and ruler of the night. The deep blue and green tones suggest the shadowed, cold realms beneath the earth, while the orange and light turquoise evoke the faint lights and sacred jewels said to guide souls on their final journey.
Sharp geometric planes recall the stone reliefs carved into temple walls: silent guardians of the passage between life and death.
Mythic Connection
Mictlan lay nine levels beneath the earth. Souls crossed rivers, mountains and winds of obsidian blades for four years before reaching its lord, and at the end of the journey waited rest.
The Cold Guardian.
Every passage has a keeper. NOCTIS is not death, but the threshold: the stillness that waits on the other side of fear.
NOCTIS belongs to NYXIN, The Hidden Truth: the ethos of the cosmos, silver and the lunar abyss, in Hurinsaya, the lower half.
Limited Edition. 100 pieces. Never returns.
NOCTIS carries the silence of the deep passage, reimagined for the bold spirit of modern streetwear.
