Its sharp, temple-like symmetry and structured geometric lines evoke the ceremonial shields that transformed a mortal into an axis mundi.

The Eagle Warriors were the soldiers of the Sun. The eagle was the Sun's own bird, and those who fell in its service were said to accompany the Sun across the sky, returning to earth as hummingbirds and butterflies.
